There is probably no camera brand more polarizing than Leica, with some seeing their cameras as overpriced status symbols and others absolutely swearing by the experience and the image output. So, is it worth it? This great video review takes a look at the new Leica M11 to answer that question.

Coming to you from James Popsys, this excellent video review takes a look at the Leica M11 rangefinder camera and asks if the Leica experience is worth it. The M11 is a bit of a departure from past M series rangefinders. No doubt, the Leica experience is still very much intact, but the M11 also comes with some very modern features. Such features include a 60-megapixel back-illuminated sensor that also offers 36- and 18-megapixel output for smaller file sizes with increased dynamic range and better noise performance, a fast electronic shutter (up to 1/16,000 s), and 64 GB of built-in storage. The viewfinder comes with automatic parallax correction and frame selection with options for 35mm/135mm, 28mm/90mm, and 50mm/75mm focal length pairs, while the rear LCD offers live view electronic stabilization. Altogether, the M11 is quite a modern take on the classic Leica experience. Check out the video above for Popsys’ full thoughts.
